Who we are
Constructicore is operated by Tecniq Services Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13856030) with its registered office at 67 Heathfield Square, London, SW18 3HZ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration ZC184301). You can contact us about privacy at info@constructicore.com.
We are the controller of information about our website visitors, our customers' account holders and billing contacts, and people our sales team contacts. For information our customers put into the app about other people (for example their clients' and subcontractors' contacts, or their operatives' clock-in records), our customer is the controller and we process it on their behalf, under the data processing terms in our customer terms. If your information is in a customer's account, contact that company first; we will help them respond.
What we collect
If you contact us or book a demo: your name, work email, company and, if you give them, your role, company size, phone number and message, with the date and time and your IP address (to help prevent spam and abuse).
If you use the app:
- account details: your name, work email, phone, role, password (stored only as a secure hash), two-factor sign-in settings, and the company you work for;
- what you do in the app: the projects, contracts, applications, notices, documents and messages you create, with who did what and when (an audit trail kept as evidence for payment disputes);
- sign-in and security records: dates and times, IP address and browser, kept to protect accounts;
- feedback you send us through the app.
If a customer adds you to the app (for example as a contact at a main contractor or subcontractor, or as an operative): your name, work contact details and role, and anything recorded about the work, such as notices sent to you, or clock-in times, location and photos where the customer uses timesheets.
If you pay us: billing name, address and email. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
If our sales team contacts you: your name, work contact details, role and company, and notes of our conversations, taken from your company's website, LinkedIn, Companies House or what you tell us.
Our web servers also keep standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies. The enquiry form sets a single session cookie, which is strictly necessary to protect it against forged submissions and is deleted when you close your browser. We also set a cookie called cc_consent to remember your choice about analytics, for 12 months.
The app uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and, if you choose "Don't ask again on this device", to remember a trusted device for 30 days. It also sets a cookie called cc_account (its value is just 1, and it holds nothing about you) so this website can show a Dashboard button instead of Book a demo.
Analytics, only if you accept. If you choose "Accept analytics", we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are visited and how people arrive), so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, kept for up to 13 months, and Google processes your IP address and device information on our behalf. We do not use it for advertising or to identify you. If you choose "No thanks", or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
The service status badge is loaded from VigilVault, so VigilVault receives your IP address when a page loads.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers, who act on our instructions:
- 20i (UK web hosting and email), where the website, the app and its data are stored;
- Stripe (payments), for customers who pay by card or Direct Debit;
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email and Bookings), when you email us or book a demo;
- Google (Google Analytics, only if you accept it) and VigilVault (status monitoring), as described above.
At a customer's direction we also send information to services they connect, such as Xero for invoices or Procore for project data, and look up company details from Companies House. Documents and notices in the app are shared with the other party to a contract (for example between a main contractor and its subcontractor), because that is what the app is for. Self-employed sales introducers working for us see the details of the businesses they contact, in our sales system, under a written agreement.
The app's data is stored in the UK. Some providers, such as Stripe, Microsoft and Google, may process information outside the UK; where they do, they use appropriate safeguards such as the UK's approved international data transfer agreements.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and sales records: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep a minimal note so we can honour that.
- Customer account data, including the audit trail and records of notices: for as long as the account exists, because they are evidence in payment disputes. When an account is closed we keep it for 90 days so it can be exported, then delete it, except copies held by the other party to a contract and anything we must keep by law. Backups are overwritten within 35 days.
- Security and server logs: up to 90 days.
- Billing records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to.
Security
Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, two-factor sign-in is available (and each company can require it), connections are encrypted, keys for connected services are encrypted before they are stored, each company's data is kept separate, and the database is backed up every night. Our security page has more detail.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability where applicable. If your information is in a customer's account, you can also ask that company directly; they decide how it is used, and we will help them respond. To exercise any of these rights, email info@constructicore.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
