Questions

Variations register: common questions.

Is the variations register part of Payments?

Yes. It is included in every plan and works with your payment applications, so a variation logged once is claimed in every application after it is instructed.

Which variations are claimed in an application?

Instructed, agreed and disputed variations are included automatically. Notified and quoted variations are recorded but not claimed until they are instructed.

Can I record what the main contractor thinks a variation is worth?

Yes. Record their reference and valuation against each variation to see the difference to yours, which is exactly what you need for the final account.
